Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal

What is Perc-Rite®?

The Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal system is a non-invasive, flexible, and environmentally sensitive means of wastewater disposal, providing equal distribution across hundreds of application points throughout the dispersal field.  Installation of the drip dispersal tubing can be on a sand bed or plowed into existing soil with the construction method selected specific to the conditions on the site.  The minimum amount of cover material required over the tubing can be as low as 6”. Together with the 1/2″ thickness of the tubing, this can result in eliminating or significantly reducing mounds.  Primary, secondary or tertiary quality wastewater can be handled, depending on the needs of each site and permitting agency. Perc-Rite® has been widely used throughout New England and the United States on projects ranging from 220 gpd to 320,000 gpd.

Benefits of a Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System include:

  • Engineered to disperse primary, secondary, or more highly treated wastewater

  • Pre-engineered for single family home and other small flows. Full engineering support provided for larger flows

  • Low finished height allows for blending into landscapes

  • Tubing works around trees and other landscape features

  • Technician provided at all installations

  • Sloping sites or non-rectangular shaped fields are easily accommodated

  • Simple installation and easy design process

Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System Innovation

Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal Systems are assembled in the United States and factory tested before being shipped.  Oakson is the sole New England distributor, providing design, installation, and operational assistance to the region since 2005.

Regardless of the size of the project or the strength of the effluent, each Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System contains a number of innovative and patented components. These include a hydraulic unit, a timer-based control panel, a multi-stage effluent pump and mounting mechanism, and irrigation tubing which has been specially designed to work with effluent disposal systems. The hydraulic unit provides final filtration, checks flow rates and captures total flow volumes, and uses valves to send the wastewater to one or more designated drip dispersal fields. The timer-based control panel uses the entire 24 hour cycle to send small amounts of wastewater to the drip dispersal fields allowing effective treatment, disposal, and management of the effluent. The Pressure compensating emitters in the tubing regulate the flow at each application point so that sloping sites, zones near and far from the pump, and irregular shaped fields all receive the exact same application rate at each orifice.
