VTDEC Grants New Approval for Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System
February 25, 2025 –
Oakson, in partnership with Advanced Onsite Services, is excited to announce a new General Use Approval for the Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System with classification as a Combined I/A Treatment and Dispersal Technology. This approval reinforces the system’s proven reliability, efficiency, and flexibility for onsite wastewater management across Vermont and New England.
The Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal System has been successfully operating in Vermont since 2014 and throughout New England since 2004. With this new General Use Approval, VTDEC recognizes the system’s ability to provide effective wastewater treatment and disposal with only a primary septic tank, pump station, and the Perc-Rite® system installed with 6” of specified sand.
Key Benefits of the New Approval:
Reduced separation to groundwater for improved site adaptability
No additional I/A treatment technology required, providing significant cost savings
Drip tubing needs only 6” of cover, minimizing site impact and lowering mounds
Ideal for sloped terrain and irregular layouts
Preserves existing trees and landscapes
Full engineering support and onsite installation assistance
Local operation & maintenance services available
“This approval is a testament to the proven performance of the Perc-Rite® system, which has been delivering reliable wastewater dispersal solutions for over two decades,” said Rob Sarmanian, owner at Oakson. “Working with Advanced Onsite Services, we’re committed to supporting Vermont’s engineers, contractors, and property owners with sustainable and adaptable onsite wastewater solutions.”
