For more than 60 years, Point Sebago Resort has anchored Maine’s Lakes Region with campsites, water activities, and a golf course. Upon a transfer of ownership, the resort upgraded on-site wastewater in phases to maintain operations. In 2022, a 20,000 gpd Perc-Rite® Drip Dispersal system was installed to handle a portion of flows while additional site analysis proceeded. In 2025, infrastructure for a 45,000 gpd Perc-Rite® system was put in place, activating four quarter-acre drip zones (≈50% of design flow) and tying into centralized pumps/controls. Four additional zones will be added in Spring 2026 to fulfill full site requirements and support year-round operation. By phasing remote drip zones, the resort kept all campsites open during upgrades—demonstrating Perc-Rite®’s flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency on a complex, occupied site.

Challenge
